You can search our availability and rates by clicking the "Check Availability & Book" or "Plan Your Stay" buttons on our website. Select which dates you would like to stay and click "Book" and complete your contact details, including payment details. For the best rates book direct with us. RATES & PAYMENT
For the best rates, always book direct with us. Our daily rates are displayed on the Availability Calendar on our website. Rates may be subject to change at times, depending on the time of year and any last minute availability. Full payment is required 30 days before arrival.
MINIMUM NUMBER OF NIGHTS STAY
Minimum stay 2 nights, however, over Bank Holidays, Christmas & New Year or popular events, this can be extended to a minimum stay of 3 nights, especially for bookings in advance.
ADULTS ONLY
Maximum of 2 adults who are booked in can stay overnight.
NO DOGGIE GUESTS
CHECK IN AND CHECK OUT
Guests are welcome to arrive between 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. and the code for the keypad containing the door key will be emailed prior to arrival.
Check out strictly by 10 a.m. to allow time for cleaning before next guests arrive.
CANCELLATION POLICY FOR CONFIRMED DIRECT BOOKINGS
Cancellations can have a big impact on a small business, and our small team who rely on us for their wages. It is not fair to expect us to stand the cost if you have to cancel your booking for any reason. It is the guests responsibility to have insurance protection in place in case the unexpected happens. Our cancellation policy is fair to both parties:-

Cancellations made within 30 days of the arrival date; you will be liable for the full cost of the stay unless we are able to re-let the property in which case a full or part refund will be made and a £10 charge is payable to cover card processing costs and administration.

Bookings made 7 days or less before arrival; the full cost is payable at the time of booking and is non refundable, or transferable, in the event of cancellation.

Guests who fail to arrive or cut short their stay, will be charged the total price of the booking.
DAMAGES & BREAKAGES
We require credit/debit card details (either when booking or on arrival). Guests will be charged full repair or replacement costs for any breakages, damage to beds, furniture, carpets, upholstery, televisions etc., or missing items of property.
HOUSE RULES
We don't have may house rules but these are displayed on the kitchen wall in both The Nestbox and The Hideout Loft, and in the information folders in both properties. We do ask that on departure you empty the kitchen and bathroom bins and take your rubbish and put it in the relevant rubbish and recycling bins. These are located at the other side of the wall in the car parking area - there is a sign on the farm yard gate.
DAMAGES & BREAKAGES
Guests will be liable to pay the full repair or replacement costs for any breakages, damage to beds, furniture, carpets, upholstery, televisions etc., or missing items of property.
PARKING
There is a parking area for 1 guest car in a well lit area and vehicles are parked entirely at the owner’s risk. The car parking area is shared with guests staying in the Farmhouse B&B.
WI-FI & MOBILE PHONE RECEIPTION
Free guest Wi-Fi via Starlink, although not superfast - we are unable to get fibre broadband at Mallard Grange. Mobile phone signals can be patchy depending on network used.
NON AVAILABILITY OF ACCOMMODATION
We would only cancel a booking if the accommodation was unavailable for reasons beyond our control. We would always attempt to find alternative accommodation nearby, or re-schedule for another date, but if this was not possible or unacceptable, then we would refund all monies paid for the booking. Our liability would not extend beyond this refund.
NO SMOKING
No smoking, (including vaping) anywhere indoors. It is illegal to smoke inside and if caught a £50 charge will be made, to pay for deep cleaning the room.
RESPECTFUL OF SURROUNDINGS
This is a quiet countryside setting and we ask guests to be respectful of their surroundings. No loud music, shouting, or causing a disturbance. Guests are not permitted access to the farmyard or the fields which surround Mallard Grange.
VISITORS
Only registered guests can have access to the accommodation. If friends or family are coming to visit during your stay, you must let us know in advance.
DATA
Any data gathered by us during the course of a booking may be held on a computer and is for our use only. It will not be shared or sold . Guests who have stayed with us will be added to our online mailing list, but can unsubscribe at any time.
